| How Did Y’all Meet? |
| We met at work he was the trainer on my first day. I may have fallen asleep during safety training but we ended up talking during lunch afterwards. |

| Tell Me About Your First Date Together |
| We met at Solea’s Mexican restaurant for food. We had such a good time we went to the bowling alley afterwards for drinks and ended up talking till 2am. |
| How Did You Fall In Love? |
| We fell in love around Christmas time 8 months into dating. Roger had been asking me to move in for quite a while with no luck. I wrapped up a Christmas gift that said yes I will move in with you and gave it to him for under his tree a few weeks early. It was the only one I wouldn’t let him touch until Christmas Day. He was so happy when he opened it, and I was happy with his never ending patience to always wait till I was ready for one of the scariest dating milestones in my mind. |
| When/Where Did He/She Propose? |
| A week or two into dating I convinced Roger to take a weekend trip to St Louis with me. We wandered the city and got stuck in a massive snowstorm on the way home extending our vacation, It was wonderful. 3 years after that almost to the day we were on a travel job in the middle of Missouri and he planned a day trip to St Louis for us. We went to city museum then to the arch to walk around the paths. He took me to a pond nearby and when no one was around got down on one knee and I didn’t even let him speak before saying yes. I was extremely surprised, definitely didn’t even know he had bought a ring much less how much thought he had put into the proposal! |

One of my favorite parts of being an Adventure Wedding Photographer is that I get to take couples all around the Southern Appalachian Mountains to really cool locations for their photo sessions! When Audry and Roger contacted me, we chose to do their Engagement Session at Craggy Gardens NC. It is a beautiful higher altitude trail on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Totally worth the effort to get to.
