Recently I was blessed to meet up with Francesca and Austin to shoot their Adventure Engagement Session over in western NC. They had their minds set on shooting at a waterfall… and jumping in! We spent some time shooting with their dogs and in their dry clothes, but I couldn’t wait to get over to the waterfall! They selected to go to Looking Glass Falls near Brevard, NC. As you can see from the photos, it was dark and moody that day, which made it perfect for the feel they were going for. Can’t wait to get over there again one of these days! Such a cool spot.

How Did Y’all Meet?
We meet in the middle of the desert during the COVID-19 pandemic while we were cleaning machine guns.

Tell Me About Your First Date Together
The pandemic made going on dates difficult so we had actually hung out plenty of time before this either playing basketball, going to the gym, or hanging out by the pool. This was our first real date and we went with a group of our friends. Austin was excited to see a ghost and I was just trying to make moves on him in the dark.
How Did You Fall In Love?
I fell in love with Austin when he bought me Mcdonald’s Chicken Nuggets after a day of drinking at the lake. (Joking aside) we both fell in love with each other because we naturally become best friends through all the activities and interests we shared and were able to do together.
When/Where Did He/She Propose?
Austin proposed to me at the Jurassic Park waterfall at Universal Studios during Halloween Nights of Horror. (Halloween has always been my favorite holiday) I literally had no idea he had a ring or even planned on proposing. He even managed to have his parents and my mom and cousin there without clueing me into what was going on.
What Are You Most Excited About For Your WeddingWedding Styled Shoot at Silo Farms Shelbyville KY?
Austin says he is most excited to see me and to officially make Kevin and Dex (our dogs) brothers.
I am most excited to celebrate with our families and to leave right after to go on our adventure honeymoon.

How Have You Grown As A Couple Since You First Started Dating?
Because of the distance, we have had to become creative in how we spend time together. The distance has also put strains on how we see one another since we don’t physically see each other because of that we have grown to become EXCELLENT communicators.
Favorite Quirk About Each Other
Austin says he likes that I can never remember the lyrics to songs but still sing them. My favorite quirk is how meticulous Austin is about preparing his food but it always comes out amazing!
