Recently I was privileged to be able to travel down to Florida to shoot Stephanie and Paul’s Adventure Engagement Session. After a super smooth travel day to FL, I met Stephanie and Paul at the airport and we headed straight to the beach!
We had so much fun exploring the beachfront at Port St. Lucie to find the perfect spot for the next morning’s sunrise engagement shoot. We know we had to get an early start the next morning so we turned in early on that Saturday night.
Sunday morning about 4 AM we woke up and got ready for a big day of shooting. Stephanie’s Aunt came to help us with travel and to manage the beautiful dress that Stephanie had rented from Dalliance Bespoke. The beach was still dark when we arrived and had to pull out our flashlights to make our way through the rocky beach to our spot. I got my lights all set up and then we just played the waiting game for the colors to start coming out in the sky.
The rest is history! It was such an epic photoshoot. We had fun that morning and even got to go shoot a little more that afternoon in some FL “jungle.” At least that is what I called it.

| How Did Y’all Meet? |
| We met casually one morning at college, and later that day, Paul was walking towards the hall we lived in. A few friends and I were heading to lunch, so I called out and invited him. Immediately, he had a look of confusion on his face, which led to me believing he had already forgotten my name, and, well, he had… He never forgot it after that! |

| We went to the local theater without a clue as to what we would watch, and once we were there, we decided to watch The Odd Life of Timothy Green. We had popcorn, and I cried because emotional scenes tear me up! Later, we stayed up all night, hanging out on the steps at the football field, where we talked for hours. |
| How Did You Fall In Love? |
| We didn’t. I plan to kill him and collect the insurance money. I’m in it for the long-haul con. Just kidding! We were riding on his motorcycle through the country, and I was just struck that we were actually in love, at least I was. |

| He proposed Krogers in front of the flowers after he asked my dad’s permission when we were visiting my parents. |

| We’re most excited about seeing family and friends, as well as the moment of walking down the aisle. |
