This week I had the pleasure of meeting up with Taylor, Taylor, and Django for their engagement session (I will let you guess who is named Django. Ha!).
I got up early and headed over to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park for our morning shoot in the Elkmont area. Specifically, we hung out around Spence Cabin, the bridge crossing over the Little River, and the Troll Bridge. There is so much mystery surrounding this area.

Since Taylor and Taylor live nearby in Wears Valley but had never gone to Elkmont before, we thought it a perfect place to go explore together.
I wanted to get our first shots of the session on the bridge crossing over Little River. There was a beautiful mist coming off of the water and just looked magical!
We met up with Taylor’s mom and she helped hold Django while we made our way down to Spence Cabin. Although we only got a few shots on the front steps of the historic cabin (that doubles as an event venue), we used the cabin’s access to the river to get a few more shots.
From there we headed just a few hundred yards down the trail to bare remains of some old cabins and a small footbridge that is dubbed “The Troll Bridge.”
All in all, it was a fun shoot. The Taylors were amazing to work with and I can’t wait to meet up with them again to shoot their wedding photos! | We met while we both worked at Sugarlands Distilling Co. We were really good friends and would always goof around. He was the one to make the first move. I totally shot him down a few times, but eventually gave in. I’m grateful I did gave in, because now I get to share the exact same name as him forever. |

| We went to ye ole steak house, to see a movie, and went to Downtown Brewery to play foosball |

| We have always been very honest with each other. We work together to get through any problems. |

| He proposed to me in our kitchen one day. So December 30th he popped the question. |

| He said he is most excited to get the crying in front of all our friends and family over with, because he will cry. I am most excited about getting to celebrate our love with all our friends and family. |
