How Did Y’all Meet?
My best friend met his best friend on a dating site. They introduced us. I (Kelli) instantly liked him and told my friend Kenna I was going to marry him someday (joking but kind of not). He was dating someone at the time so he didn’t think the same.
So I bid my time, they broke up, I waited a month or 2 and then I slid into those DM’s and the rest is history.

Tell Me About Your First Date Together
I had asked if we could do a first date at his place I could cook or he could. The reason I did this is because I had had my rescue dog for about a year and knew she was a good judge of character but that she also was weary around guys. So I said he had to pass her test before we went on more dates. He agreed, he cooked dinner and we watched a movie and Kaia (my dog) took an instant liking to him.
How Did You Fall In Love?
I think I loved him instantly. We just click very well. The first night we said I love you though was, we were on our friends party bus drunker than skunks. We got home and we were just laughing super hard over something. I was on the floor laughing and he was standing over me we looked at eachother and that’s when we for sure knew it.
When/Where Did He/She Propose?
On valentines day in 2021 we were on vacation in Arizona. We went hiking in the Grand Canyon. I (kelli) was hungover so the ride there was not so fun. We get there and it’s so beautiful so I am taking lots of pictures and Marcus is getting impatient with me. I asked him where the heck he was needing to be because we were where we were.
He wouldn’t walk next to me and he kept telling me to hurry up. I was fed up and about to give it to him. We found a spot off the trail that was secluded and was taking lots of pictures. I begrudgingly asked Marcus if he would take a picture with me. He did but instantly he stepped away, and I was about to lay into him asking what his deal was, when he got down on one knee.
Safe to say he was good the rest of our trip there.
What Are You Most Excited About For Your Wedding?
To honestly just be married to eachother and to have our loved ones around us when we finally get married.

What Is Your Most Favorite Thing About Each Other?
My favorite thing about Marcus is him seeing the best in PEOPLe, he always tries to look on the positive side when it comes to people and what they do.
And his butt i like his butt. My favorite thing about Kelli is, how much she cares about the people she loves, me, Kaia (our dog), Forrest (our cat) and the people she nursed back to help. I love the passion she has about caring for others.
How Have You Grown As A Couple Since You First Started Dating?
We are always open and honest with eachother. We are eachothers best friends but we are also separate people. We figured out it is okay to do things apart and together.
Favorite Quirk About Each Other
My favorite quirk about Marcus is that he dances when he’s drunk, and that he knows every word to fergilicious. My favorite quirk about Kelli is how big of A need she is when she reads and watches certain movies.. she just geeks out over certain things and it’s super cute.
How Do You Feel Most Loved By Your Partner?
When I (kelli) get home from a really bad day at work and Marcus has the bath running and a bottle of wine or the house clean and dinner made. I feel the most loved by kelli when she looks at me in a certain way. It’s hard to explain but it’s a look she gets and I know she absolutely loves me.
