It was my pleasure to join Sarah and Zach for their January 2nd elopement to the Pretty Place Chapel in South Carolina. It was the perfect way to start off my 2023 wedding season. Weddings don’t really pick up until the Spring, but I loved being able to shoot their intimate elopement. We were blessed with abnormally warm weather for January, so it made the day even more enjoyable. Sarah and Zach were joined by some of their closest family, most of whom came in from Middle TN and Charlotte, NC.
If you have never heard of The Pretty Place Chapel, then be sure to check it out! It is a public access location connected to a YMCA youth camp outside of Greenville, SC. Even though it is public access, you can rent out the space for a reasonable price. There is a two-hour minimum rental, but that is really all the time you need to do a small ceremony and get your photos.

I saw him across the room at a local small town restaurant/bar and done something completely foreign to me…grabbed his name from the bartender and added him on Facebook. Our first date soon followed a couple of weeks after and we haven’t been apart since.

We had only messaged…never talked over the phone. First date was at another local bar…me, him and another couple (his dear friends).

Easily…quicker than ever before…we couldn’t get enough of each other and still can’t even 2 years later!
When/Where Did He/She Propose?
We just went on a week long vacation in my favorite town > Whitefish, Montana. We arrive on Oct 8th and be proposed the night of Oct 9th!
What Are You Most Excited About For Your Wedding?
We already feel married…we are just super excited to make it official and desperately wanting great photos!
