Whitney & Joseph Paint Creek Engagement Session
If you have read any of my other photography blogs, you will know that I love exploring new locations with couples! For Whitney and Joseph’s Paint Creek Engagement Session, we were able to do just that! Although I have been to Paint Creek Recreational Area before (a part of the Cherokee National Forest near Greeneville, TN) I had not been to a nearby fire tower. Joseph was very interested in shooting in both locations, and I was happy to do it.

From the fire tower, we made our way down the mountain and into the Paint Creek Recreational Area. This is such a cool area with a good mix of cascades, waterfalls, and wooded areas… in other words, perfect for an Adventure Engagement Shoot with Hunter Kittrell Photography! Ha! How did y’all meet?
Softball and I coached his little sisters
When and where did you go on your first date?
Monterrey Mexican Restaurant after graduation and one of his softball tournaments
Tell me about your first date together?
It was friendly. Took him 3 months to kiss me. Haha
How did you fall in love?
Giving each other a hard time about being in love until he finally admitted it.
When/where did he/she propose?
He had my softball girls at school set it up on the softball field during my planning period at school. They blindfolded me and played music and took pictures and had it all spelled out with softballs and roses.
What are you most excited about for your wedding?
Wearing my dress haha

Sense of humor
How have you grown as a couple since you first started dating?
Very much so. He just got out of a relationship and wasn’t really ready to settle down in another one.

The little things like telling me I’m beautiful when I know I’m a wreck.

I thought he was a cocky jerk.
